We want people to dine in with convenience, ordering and paying (on-demand) from their own phones. In 2018 we built a platform to make this happen and haven't looked back since.
15-year Executive Chef, Greg Daniels, brings his hometown staple to West LA -- the Beef on Weck. As Co-founder of Order For Me, this new concept will showcase efficiency with tech.
You may have noticed our technology vibes, and that's because we're actually a restaurant tech company called Order For Me. We're based here in Santa Monica (howdy, neighbors!) and you can find us at www.orderfor.me
In 2018, we started building a platform to let sit-down restaurant guests order and pay from their own phones. We talked to many customers and found that waiting to place an order, or to pay and leave, were among the most common frustrations when dining out. Order For Me set out to solve these problems with the most convenient dining solution available.
Now, we're even more important as guest and employee safety are paramount. Our platform eliminates close interaction between restaurant and customer by removing paper menus, and accepting digital payments only. There's no need to pass cash or cards between parties, or yell through a mask from six feet away (which can lead to inaccurate orders).
Our co-founder is a fifteen-year Executive Chef named Greg Daniels. He grew up in Buffalo, NY, which is at the heart of our signature Beef on Weck sandwich, but has been a Venice local for seven years. Previously he's opened and run Salt Air, Waldorf Astoria and The Golden Bull steakhouse in Santa Monica. You'll see some of his crowd pleasers worked into our menu here.
